2 Chainz Sues Cannabis Company for Alleged $15 Million Swindle
Rapper's Investment Company Claims Breach of Contract and Fraud
Lawsuit Filed in Los Angeles Superior Court
Rapper Tauheed Epps, better known as 2 Chainz, is the latest celebrity to become embroiled in the booming legal cannabis market. However, unlike other stars who have launched successful marijuana businesses, Epps is seeking justice through the courts after an investment deal turned sour.
An investment company representing Epps has filed a lawsuit in Los Angeles Superior Court against a cannabis company and its former executive, alleging breach of contract, fraud, and other violations. The lawsuit claims that Epps invested $15 million in the company based on false promises and misrepresentations.
According to the complaint, the company promised Epps a significant return on his investment and a role in the company's management. However, the company allegedly failed to deliver on these promises and misled Epps about the financial health of the business.
