Agent Cleared Of Sending Former Chelsea Director Marina Granovskaia A Threatening Email Launches Multi Million Pound Lawsuit Against Her And The Club Over Fees He Claims He Is Owed

Agent cleared of threatening email launches multi-million-pound lawsuit against Chelsea and ex-director Marina Granovskaia

Former player agent Pini Zahavi has launched a multi-million-pound lawsuit against Chelsea and former club director Marina Granovskaia, over fees he claims he is owed.

Zahavi was cleared of any wrongdoing by the Football Association in January, after he was accused of sending a threatening email to Granovskaia in 2018.

The FA investigation found that Zahavi had sent an email to Granovskaia in which he threatened to "make her life a misery" if she did not pay him the fees he was owed.

However, the FA found that Zahavi had not intended to carry out the threat, and that he had only sent the email in order to get Granovskaia to pay him the money he was owed.

Zahavi has now launched a lawsuit against Chelsea and Granovskaia, claiming that they owe him millions of pounds in fees for his work in negotiating the transfer of David Luiz and N'Golo Kante to the club.

Zahavi is a well-known agent who has represented some of the biggest names in world football, including Neymar, Robert Lewandowski and Paul Pogba.

He has a long-standing relationship with Chelsea, having negotiated a number of transfers for the club in the past.

However, his relationship with Chelsea soured in recent years, after the club refused to pay him the fees he claimed he was owed for the transfers of Luiz and Kante.

Zahavi's lawsuit is likely to be a lengthy and complex affair.

It will be interesting to see how the case unfolds, and whether Zahavi is able to recover the fees he claims he is owed.
