TORONTO (AP) — The Toronto Blue Jays have placed center fielder Kevin Kiermaier and catcher Mike Zunino on the 10-day injured list, the team announced Tuesday. Kiermaier suffered a laceration on his left arm while making a diving attempt to catch a line drive in Monday's game against the Oakland Athletics. Zunino has been sidelined since June 9 with a left shoulder impingement.

In addition to the injured list moves, the Blue Jays also added left-handed starting pitcher Hyun Jin Ryu to the COVID-19 related injured list. Ryu is experiencing mild symptoms and is expected to miss his scheduled start on Wednesday.

To replace Kiermaier and Zunino on the active roster, the Blue Jays recalled catcher Gabriel Moreno and outfielder Bradley Zimmer from Triple-A Buffalo. Closer Jordan Romano was also activated from the COVID-19 related injured list.
